This nationally recognized and award winning French bakery and coffee shop is open long hours and is perfect for hanging out with a friend over coffee. They are famous for their salted caramel brownie, which helped them get invited to the Whitehouse a couple years ago. But the food is a must if you go hungry! It is an excellent little shop with knowledgeable baristas and fresh baked goods from a local bakery brought in every morning. They also have beer and wine and an outdoor patio area. Some nights they offer live music, too.

RiRa gets a little crazy on weekends. But this giant restaurant and bar is a must if you are wanting to get into the center of it all in Uptown Charlotte. They have a rooftop bar that is sort of hidden off to the side of the second floor. Walking in from the stairs, look to the left for a door-- this will take you to a rooftop that makes you feel like you can reach out and touch one of the high rise towers!
