Travel Advice London
The Tube (The Underground) is the easiest way to get around, however, don't forget buses are a good and inexpensive way to also get around.
I suggest to always buy an Oyster Card, which requires a £5 deposit, and then loaded with cash. Suggestion: Start by loading it with £10
You can buy an oyster card at London underground stations ticket machines, Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport.
How to use an Oyster:
Underground: tap the Yellow Reader with your oyster card when entering and exiting
Local Bus: tap the Yellow Reader ONCE when boarding the bus. DO NOT tap again or you will be charge twice
