This wonderful restaurant is a great meal out for family or groups. It is set in a farm situation where you can do a audio guide farm walk by Guy Watson. Amazing food, especially the vegetables and puddings to die for.

We are very fortunate to be only a short drive from areas of natural beauty, be it The River Dart, Dartmoor, The South West Coast path with its pretty coves and beaches, and Slapton Ley a Nature Reserve. If you are someone who enjoys the outdoors, walks, birdwatching, sea swimming, there is something for everyone within a few miles of Fingals.
Fabulous walks along the coast - either on cliffs or beaches. Favourites beaches are Mattiscombe, near Start Point Light House and Slapton beach.

Slapton Ley is the largest natural lake in south-west England. Although it is only separated from the sea by a narrow shingle bar, it is entirely freshwater. The lake is surrounded by reedbeds, marshes and woodland habitats. Follow a trail, join a FREE event or stay for a course at the Field Centre. It is a fantastic place to go for bird watching and then walk up to Slapton and have a drink at The Tower Inn.
