The Quantocks are just stunning! Around 15-20 minutes drive from here, we cannot recommend them highly enough. The scenary is breathtaking and there are plenty of places to park up and walk from. Use map apps to search for car parks and savour the views! And give the ponies a pat from us!

One of our favourite places on the South Coast. A short drive of around 30-40 minutes and you can walk along the sea front, enjoy fresh seafood in the many town restaurants and savour the stunning coastline scenary. It's a thriving community town and is wonderful day or night.

The wonderful thing about Lyme beaches is the fossiling! The coastline is amazing and so beautiful, but the real treat is when you come across a fossil! We love a visit to Lyme and the surrounding beaches.

Although a bit of a trip (just under an hour to drive), the North Coast of Devon is simply breathtaking. Saunton Sands is our favourite beach with miles of golden sands and dog friendly all year round. We love to watch the kite surfers who frequent that area.
There are several nearby towns, villages and beaches so you can head off for a day and visit a handful of incredible locations.
A must visit any time of year.

Saunton Sands

Killerton is a National Trust house and estate that offers a great balance between historic house sightseeing and a good stroll around a natural estate. It’s a fun few hours for the family.
