Newly-renovated & it looks so good! The revamped restaurant, Golden Gate, has an eclectic upscale menu and the cocktails are AMAZING. Our favorites are the Palomita and Violett French 75.

For our bagel lovers! Fun Fact - Caroline's sells Bubba's Bagels. They're delivered fresh every morning. Not as large of a selection, but if you don't feel like hopping in the car to drive to Bubba's, you can walk down to Caroline's instead.

Built inside of an old Victorian home, Alloro has my favorite Italian in the area. Capellini Alloro is my go to, simple but delicious everytime. And the calamari fritti :)

Like Sedona, AZ, Nevada City is a "spiritual vortex" as well as a historic gold mining town like Grass Valley. It has a similar downtown feel but the crowd that hangs here seems to be a little younger than those in Grass Valley. Definitely recommend the short 7 min drive to explore!
