Multiple long and beautiful hiking trails (with various degrees of technicality), a large lake with a beach to swim in, an almost half-mile wide field of boulders/large rocks (formed by an ancient glacier) that kids and many adults love to cross, and a myriad waterfalls. Located 20 minutes from the house by car.
