Stroll through the town and you will walk through time. The Romans, Saxons, Normans, Georgians and Victorians have all left their mark. Each has created a chapter in Bradford on Avon’s remarkable story. Bradford-on-Avon is one of favorites. It just has a magical feel about it, with its cobbled narrow streets, and quaint little shops. It is in a unique position in that it is right on the edge of the Cotswolds and is built around the river Avon.
