Sightseeing
Ever man park is a quick walk down the street from your home. Take Sycamore down to S 1st and cross the tunnel that also has lit up art at night. Takes you straight to a Dr. Seuss land. Great for taking pictures and reading story quotes. If you continue down cypress street there is another story book park at the convention center. Cypress street is also nice to take pictures at the fountain, visit the grave museum or have some coffee or food.

Buffalo Gap
Buffalo Gap is only a few miles out of town but has so much history and fun things to see. They have the state park, Restaurants from perini ranch, catfish food, and fun local bakeries.
It’s a nice drive towards the evenings at the Old Settlers ground. Because you see deer prancing along every where. At that same location they have the monthly flea market.
This is the newest movie theater in town. They have very clean facilities and super comfortable reclining seats.

This has the most beautiful Jacobs Dream statue. They also have really nice walking and biking trail around campus. There’s a Starbucks inside the library if you want a small treat and they occasionally have public events to attend for families.

The mall has some shopping but the most visited are the library, movies, Heffs burgers, Best Buy and Books a million.

Our location is called SODA district which stands for South of Downtown Abilene
There are many places to eat, drink, or fun activities. If you just go across the bridge you will find north downtown and you will find more places to shop locally. It can be busy and some transient walkers since the bus station is two blocks from the home. The home is located right behind the largest building in Abilene named the Enterprise building. There is a nice coffee shop located on the first floor if you would like something close walking distance and local. On the weekends there is local farmers market about half a mile down and also some local vendors a few blocks away

Whiskey Bar
Very laid back and friendly environment. The main bartender makes you feel right at home. They have a nice outdoor patio and it is one block away from the home. You can walk to the location.
