This park offers over 4000 acres of untouched wilderness, perfect for hiking and biking. There are even equestrian trails if you’re fortunate enough to own a horse! Many residents of Kingwood have reviewed on Google that East End Park is their favorite park in the Houston area, and it’s easy to see why. East End Park features gorgeous scenery, nice walking/running trails, a beach, easy kayak or canoe access, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Just a short drive away, Old MacDonald’s Farm has 15 acres of petting zoo animals, pony riding, animal feeding, and more. This would be a great activity for all ages, and the price of admission is only $15

River Grove Park is a fishing hot spot in Kingwood! The river branches from Lake Houston and offers amazing fishing and beautiful scenery for non-fishermen as well. The park has convenient boat ramps, amazing wildlife, and even a golf course nearby.
