Family Fun

A must see for families, our girls love it! This isn't a traditional Zoo, here the animals roam free (when safe!). Visitors also have the opportunity to see highly endangered species such as the Rothschild giraffe, European Bison, Lion Tailed Macaque and Scimitar Horned Oryx, most of them without the obstacle of fenced-in exhibits. This is the most spectacular aspect of Fota Wildlife Park and is the reason you'll want to spend a full day exploring Ireland's Wildest Attraction.

Sightseeing

Tradition says that those who kiss the Blarney Stone will be endowed with the gift of eloquence - "the gift of the gab", as the locals call it. Most people when they think of Blarney Castle think of the Blarney Stone, but there’s also extensive gardens and woods to explore here. If the weather is nice there are picnic tables and there’s also two cafés inside. We recommend getting in early to beat the queues as this is a popular place!

The colourful town of Cobh in Cork’s sunny east is the perfect place to head for the day. See the imposing  St Colman's Cathedral, the neo-Gothic building that took decades to build and go for the full Titanic experience.
