Do you like burgers? Look no further. At slater 50/50, they have amazing burgers and beer. They pay homage to the original 50/50 patty – made of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. They also have a selection of outrageous food favorites and an extensive selection of local and regional craft beers.

Philz Coffee is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain based in San Francisco, California, and is considered a major player in third-wave coffee. Philz Coffee focuses on making pour over coffee. Philz Coffee has 70 locations spread throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, greater Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and most recently in Chicago. Philz was founded by Phil Jaber and his son Jacob, both of whom are located in San Francisco area. If you like dark roast coffee, I recommend Jacobs Wonderbar which was named in honor of Phil's son Jacob. Thank me later.

The Knott's Berry Farm amusement park in Orange County, California, originated from a berry farm owned by Walter Knott (1889–1981). In the 1920s, Knott and his wife, Cordelia, sold berries, berry preserves, and pies from a roadside stand beside State Route 39, near the small town of Buena Park. Over the years, it became one of Southern California's most iconic theme parks.
