The Spot is a small (secret) local precinct in Randwick which has the best selection of funky restaurants, bars in the Eastern Suburbs. (It even has a super cute art-deco cinema) Just a quick Uber fare up the hill. Highly recommended for an evening out. Thai, Indian, Italian, Spanish, French, Greek restaurants galore.

A definite recommendation if you are after a huge slection of craft beer, with great food and an awesome rooftop courtyard with a view. Check it out as you head into the city. Just jump on the any bus that come past the house towards the city. The bus will dump you right at the front door.
