This is a German Bakery with Belgian style beers (American). It's a chill, laid back place. They bake bread daily and make their own cheeses and cure their own meats. Great sandwiches and pretzels!

It's the best sushi in town, arguably in the state of Texas. Exec chef Tyson Cole is a genius. It's also the best happy hour in town: 5 - 6:30 pm EVERY DAY. Get there at 5 pm to get seated fast.

So. Congress Cafe is one of the best brunch spots in town. It has the best bloody Mary! Get there early--there is usually a wait. Try the carrot cake french toast!

This is another great brunch spot and is walking distance. The food is good, and on the weekends they have $1 Mimosas and Bellinis!

Known just as much for being a great music venue as it is for BBQ, Stubbs is legendary. Catch a great act there, or go for the good BBQ. They have a gospel brunch on Sunday (drinks not included).

This is a very Texas BBQ joint (meat ala carte, white bread, sides ala carte). For a taste of good ol' southern TX BBQ, this place will do the trick. Right off Ceaser Chavez and Red River.
