This was the restaurant in Logan Square that first started the rejuvenation of the neighborhood. When you think of Logan, you think of Lula. It's also Ira Glass's favorite restaurant. I go here often.

People like this brunch spot (only open until 3p). It's cute and somewhat new to the neighborhood. I've only been there a handful of times (the food came out warm, not hot), but people swear by it.

Consistently named the top restaurant for burgers in Chicago. There's usually a line, there's always metal music playing.

Your typical neighborhood bar. Unpretentious, located on a residential street, and with nice people behind the bar. Their food is pretty good and nicely priced too -- they have a daily mac'n'cheese.

Owned by the same people who own Violet Bar (a fancy speakeasy) in Wicker Park. The drinks here are OK and they serve Cajun food. But I think you're better off going to another bar I've listed.
