A series of moderate hikes through the trees, across a field and then down the side of a cliff (not as steep as it sounds and that includes little man made (or woman made) stair cases and lookouts. If you hike to the beach you land on a long beautiful beach with a lighthouse

There are two options to reach Poo Poo point. The trail starting at Issaquah High School offers a 7 to 8 mile round trip with some steady inclines, or you can hike up the backside for a much shorter trip. The view is worthwhile regardless. Para-gliders can often be seen launching from the top. Local companies offer para-gliding opportunities as well.

Due to the large variety of events available, I often visit this lovely place, be it with family, friends or solo, this is the place to go to for symphonic, Philharmonic or Flamenco performances! I love the architecture and acoustics of that Hall. Benaroya Hall is very accessible, it sits in the core of downtown Seattle, the venue provides under ground parking for a fee, there are several other parking lots choices in the area if ok to walk a bit.

Whether you come for an event (concert, show or festival), to visit one of the attractions (Space Needle, Science Center, Children's Museum) or just to hang out on the grounds, Seattle Center has something for everyone and never fails to deliver. It's a fun adventure to travel here by monorail from downtown too. This is a great year-round destination

Sightseeing

Go there - its got a Statue of Liberty, a pebbly beach combined with a seawall, broad sidewalks, picnic places, inexpensive and varied food (actually also a few higher end spots which are quick good and moderately priced), and a good long walk from the shipping quays at the southend around Lighthouse point to a broad vista of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, Vashon Island, and an ever varying array of winds, waves, clouds, birds, sea mammals (a few jelly fish, too), and big cargo ships steaming up and down and around, ferry boats, sailboats, kayaks, wind surfers, and an occasional swimming dog (the water never gets above 50F - burr!!).

Witness one of the more spectacular water features in Washington State. A short hike takes you to the base of the falls, or enjoy the view from the top and head into the Salish Lodge for a cocktail or a great meal.

I love Trader Joe's. This is a fab location. They have a lot of exclusive items because mostly everything is their own brand, there's a sample section in the corner of the store behind the produce department. They also have quite the variety of packaged food if you work close by and need to ready to eat or ready to heat lunch.
