Great Indian food. The warm curry, butter chicken, and delicious samosas bring the sub-continent to you. We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here. The lunch buffet is wonderful.

This century old general store has the original floorboards, and great scones. Find unique British foods--especially in the sweet shop section. This store has been used in many movie shoots due to its character.

This centrally located lake is a 20 minute walk from our home. Large cedars and firs, an outdoor swimming pool, children's water park, picnic tables, fishing pier, boat launch (no motors on the lake), and playgrounds. A 2.35 kilometre paved path circles the lake that offers a spectacular view of Mount Baker, our local volcano. The lake is annually stocked with trout.
