It presents a unique contrast from 2000m high snow peaks to the peaceful coastline. It only takes a half an hour drive through the nature park to reach the peaks with an unforgettable view of the city and the surrounding islands

It only takes a half an hour drive through the nature park to reach the peaks with an unforgettable view of the city and the surrounding islands
Nugal Makarska beach is one of the most picturesque beaches on the Makarska Riviera, and probably in the entire Croatia. It’s located two kilometers east of Makarska. You can only reach this beach on foot (small seaside promenade) or by boat. One stream steep fall over rocks just above Nugal beach, creating an over 10 m high waterfall in winter months.

Getting Around
A nice place for a walk looking at the sail boats, the yachts, taxi boats . The ferry to Brac does also sail from here and here are lots of people promenading. Here are also boats with entertaining and restaurants aboard.

The manin town square is in the old town with a very nice church at the top of the square . The area comes a live at night with lots of very good resturants around the sides of the square and lots of small shops in the streets leading from the square
