home bakes, all day breakfasts and nice coffee all provided without breaking the bank! ON a sunny day you can't beat sitting at on of their outside tables overlooking the Loch with a nice fresh cuppa and a home made cake!

Sightseeing

The road up the Bealach na Ba is not for the feint-hearted; the fastest ascending road in mainland UK it combined hairpin bends with single track road and passing places .... and as if that wasn't enough it goes up the side of a mountain! There is a viewpoint at the top though from where you can see across to the mountains on Skye and beyond. Having gone over the Bealach you will reach the village of applecross and its famous inn; worth a stop here if it is not too busy (it gets very busy in the summer months) to sample some of the local seafood and perhaps a few real ales; if you are not driving!
