Very casual way to enjoy the sound, plus get the best view of the city. Many interesting food options, plus good beer and drinks. There may be a line, especially if the weather is nice. Bonus: take the water taxi across the sound to get to Pioneer Square!

Great view of the Olympic Mountains and the Space Needle. Lots of sand and volleyball, or you can stay on the rocky shore.
Or rent a kayak or SUP and experience Puget Sound! Parking can be crazy, but it's worth the hassle.
