Our local movie theater. It's a beautiful historic theater that has been very nicely renovated. Has a good variety of movies, including some good art movies.

A truly exceptional local bakery. They have incredible donuts, pastries, sandwiches, soups, and coffee drinks. A bit pricey, but highly recommended.

This is the church that we attend in the area and we love it! It's a Christian non-denominational church. We can even give you a ride there for their Sunday services if you would like.

Excellent coffee shop in town! It is also very nicely decorated and a great place to sit and relax or chat. The people that work there are also very nice and friendly.

Surprisingly good pizza for a small town in northern Michigan. Great variety of toppings and flavored crusts! Only drawback is that they do not deliver, but they are less than 1 mile from the house.

A very nice local art gallery. Beautiful location that used to be the US Coast Guard station. Great location right where the Betsie River empties into Lake Michigan. They also have art classes.
