I spend every Saturday morning exploring the Wissahickon. Parking available at Forbidden Drive entrance (approx 10 min drive from our home) or Valley Green Inn. Great for a run, hike or lesiurely walk. My favorite place in Philadelphia!

The Schuylkill River Trail is a recreational path which runs along the Schuylkill River from Center City Philadelphia, through Valley Forge National Historical Park in Montgomery County and ends in Parkerford, PA - right through Manayunk. Go for a run or grab a cup of coffee and take a walk down this easy, riverfront trail. Accessible from several points along Manayunk's Main Street (entrance at Lock and Main Street closest to the house) - look for signs that say towpath!
