This is an amazing pizza parlor with decent prices and the timeshare coupons work here (last we checked). It's got an amazing atmosphere, but can get quite crowded. We eat here often!

Our boys love street vendor food, but if we had a little girl, we'd take her here. Very fancy, suitable for a princess! We hear lunch is a good value.

If you have the late-night munchies, but don't want to go wandering the streets at 1am, we recommend this place. Take the parking garage exit on 53rd and (jay)walk directly across the street. You can't miss it. Much better than the cafe in the Hilton.

First time in NYC? We took one and it was well worth the cost. Expect to spend an entire day jumping on and off, to explore the city. There's a slight up-charge for the Statue of Liberty boat ride--Go for it!

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: You have two options... You either want to be in the very front or the very back. If you have small children, we recommend getting there early, around 6:30am and marking out a spot on the curb with a blanket. Kids can stay inside for a few hours while a parent holds down the fort. Or, if you're all adults or grown children, just hang back under the heated awning. There's a slight upward slope to the entrance of the hotel so people in the back get a pretty decent view and stay toasty warm. I worry the awning may cut off your view of the tops of the balloons, but you should be able to see them coming and going with no problem.

Parks & Nature
Familiar with the movie Madagascar? This is the zoo! It's a bit funny to realize the real zoo has a sea-lion exhibit where the cartoon lion exhibit should be. Still... It's a very nice zoo, especially for the little kids.

We walked to it (one hour)... Next time we'll take a cab. Free admission. Do not let let them guilt-trip you into paying the $70/person suggested donation. Pay what you feel is appropriate.

If you're here for Thanksgiving, definitely see the Rockettes' Christmas show. Buy tickets online, not at the door. We also saw a Cirque Du Soleil performance here. The building is amazing and they also offer tours.

Want to see a Broadway show, but don't care what it is? There's a ticket booth in the center of Times Square that sells all the remaining, unsold theater tickets for a discount. You have to purchase them that morning. You're not going to find Hamilton here, but you will find Phantom of the Opera or The Lion King.

Entertainment & Activities
After dragging our kids to museums, theaters, fancy restaurants, etc... We took the subway to Coney Island, and they loved it! It's cheesy, a bit weird & creepy, but they loved it every bit as much as Disney World. Bring cash and be prepared to pay for each individual ride. Ultimately, it was an inexpensive day trip.
