Check for GOLDEN TOUR TICKET PILATUS it cost around 100 chf but you will get the cabelcar up to pilatus the steepest train in the world down on the other side and with the boat back to luzern. with the touristcard/busticket you get discount.
Or with the swiss travel pass you can do boat and train for free to go to MOUNT RIGI.

With the car its just a 20 min drive for sunset. but also can go for a nice walk 2h with amazing view and a outdoor elevator who goes 150 meters along the streight mountain wall.
