A must visit spot on the Iconic BBQ trail from Elgin to Lockhart is this cozy family owned restaurant. We love just about everything on the menu. Some of our favs are the "Slammer" a jalapeno and cheese stuffed sausage link wrapped in bacon, yum! Also their homemade mac n cheese. Plenty of space at this place :-D

Absolutely the best chicken fried steak ever! Served with farm fresh veggies. If you can....save room for dessert, wonderful selections to choose from, apple pie, cobblers, cheesecakes.
