A little hidden gem, if you like Vietnamese cuisine this is a pretty nice spot. They also deliver through some delivery apps, or you can call to order and then pick up. It's very simple and family operated, and the food is delicious.

Needless to say, our favorite fast food chain. Come on, we are sure you have a favorite too. There is also another CFA location nearby on Bearss Avenue.

Parks & Nature
Rowlett Park is right on Hillborough River. This is where we take our dogs to every day because there are two dog parks there. There are trails and shelters where families gather for parties, especially on the weekend. During the week it is very quiet and pleasant if you like going to walks.

The waterfront park not only offers the best views of downtown Tampa, but it also hosts many festivals throughout the year. Whether you make it out there for the museums, restaurants or walking by the river, make sure to bring your camera. If you are driving, you will be surprised by how easy parking can be downtown and how traffic is usually very moderate even during peak hours.

Entertainment & Activities
Although the zoo is mostly designed for families, it's a pleasant outing even for the single traveler. Located very close to our house and with affordable prices, we recomment visiting if you have a morning or an afternoon to spare while visiting Tampa.

This movie theater who happens to also offer a full American menu is conveniently located to us. We also like that the tickets are more affordable than other theaters. This is not an upscale experience but it is definitely worth it for an evening out.

We are so close to Busch Gardens it's not even funny. You can hear the screams from Sheikra riders from our back yard. Keep an eye on their ticket specials and if you are into thrill rides make sure to check it out. They also have seasonal events throughout the year celebrating different occasions.

Keep an eye out for tickets to USF sports teams' games. The university campus is absolutely stunning and has incredible sports facilities. The Sun Dome is where the BULLS play and also where they hold USF graduation ceremonies.

Getting Around
If you need to fill your tank, although this is not the nearest station, it is more reliable. We have never had credit card fraud problems fueling up here, and they also have a nice convenient store adjacent to the pumps.
