This is an amazing beach for boogie boarding if the waves are right. It can fill up, so be sure to get there early. You can also ask for a pass for Maumae Beach. If both are full, park at Spencer Beach Park, hike along the shore to Maumae beach and enjoy!

A hike into Pololu Valley is perfectly paired with a stop in Hawi on the way home for lunch and ice cream.
