Sightseeing
The railroad from Flåm til Nyrdal presents some amazing scenery.
While in Flåm you can visit the ÆGIR Brewery and try some great local food and beer. I would also recommend that you take a boat trip to Nærøyfjorden/Aurlandsfjorden, named the most beautiful fjord in the wolrd on several occations. If you are based in Bergen you can travel to Flåm by train, bus or boat. Train/bus takes approx. 2 hrs.
Also take the sightseeing bus to the outlook point at Stegasteinen - great view overlooking the Fjord and Flåm.

I25 min by bus from Bergen city. Open from May 1st - 31 august, tuesday - sunday. You have to walk from the parkinglot up to the fortress, (30-45 minutes). Even people in poor shape usually make the trip without too much effort. There is asphalt all the way to the top, sneakers are fine (rainboots or Goretex for those rainy days are better. ) Tips: It can be windy at the top, so bring a scarf/hat unless it's really warm. The average temperature in Bergen for june/july/august is only 14,5 degrees, after all.. The view is great
