Whole Foods is the best place to shop for fruit, vegetables, meat, and essentially any of your perishable needs. While it's a bit pricey, the quality is hard to beat.

This new 14th Street French bistro is so delightfully well executed that you'll be lucky to land a table. That said, you should definitely still try!

Pitango makes legitimately good gelato (and this is coming from someone who lived in the gelato capital of the world--Bologna). Their coffee isn't half bad either.

Hands down the best coffee in DC. This is the place to get your caffeine fix. However, it's a small space so not the best spot to lounge with your computer for an afternoon.

Estadio is easily my favorite tapas restaurant in DC. The food is always fantastic (try the blistered shishito peppers and the grilled squid!) and the decor and atmosphere really seal the deal.

Great atmosphere, drinks, and decor make Black Jack an awesome place to grab a few beers or cocktails after a long day. They even have a bocce ball court in the back!
