Bar with an exotica/tropical theme and great cocktails. On Fridays and Saturdays the crowd and the music is a bit more mainstream with your occasional tourists during the summer. It has some great themed parties on weekdays usually.

On Fridays or Saturdays it usually gets very crowded at 5 am with all the party-goers needing a late-night/early-morning bite. It is interesting late at night because you can observe all the 'tribes' of the Athenian night scene come by. Also works as a take out.

Very good souvlaki! Or it used to be at least, I haven't tried it for quite some time. They're quite known though. Also serves as take out. The title of the place means 'The Women' because it is owned by two women.

This is probably the largest supermarket close by but don't think of a really big space, it's quite crowded but has everything you should need. This is the supermarket that we go to mostly. Good prices with a variety of goods. To find really large supermarkets you usually have to go to the suburbs, they are in the center of Athens.
