This is another great quick and casual lunch spot in Highlands. It is right on Main Street, across from Old Edwards Inn. They have great soups and salads.

We love Madison's Wine Garden at the Old Edwards Inn. They have great cocktails, a great wine menu, and they also serve great light fare, as well as a full lunch and dinner menu. Just be mindful of seasonal hours because they are located outdoors.

Paoletti is fine Italian dining. It is only open during the busier season months, but it is really great. Make sure you make a reservation, you will need it!

Randevu is great breakfast and lunch place! It is situated on a cute pond, and is super cozy inside. It has a cabin- feel to it. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, and they have a good size menu, and the food is made with fresh ingredients.

Slab Town Pizza is one of our favorite places to go. It is located off of Slab Town road,. The inside is super cute and bright. They serve beer and wine on tap. Their menu doesn't stop at Pizza's, and they serve sandwiches, salads, and their waffle fries are amazing! Check it out for sure!

This is located in an old building with tons of charm. We recommend making a reservation or calling ahead. The menu is pretty big, with a lot to offer! It is less than 10 minutes from the home.

Lucky for us, this is located only .8 miles from the home. We recommend driving though! Great for kids, or adults who like to play like kids! There is a shallow swimming/wading area at the bottom to also play!

The Whiteside mountain hike is a must do! It is super easy, just shy of two miles. The hike is about 15 minutes from the home, and has gorgeous views all along the top. It is an easy hike, suitable for almost anyone who can walk!
