Our favourite walking trails
From Diamond Lake you can walk up to Rocky Mountain. Allow at least 2.5 hours for the whole walk. Above the diamond lake lookout we recommend going up the western route and down the eastern route.

Isthmus Peak Track

Wanaka’s most popular walk. We recommend getting an early start to avoid the heat. Have plenty of water and good sun protection as there’s only one tree for shade!
The track is closed for lambing between 1st October - 10th November.
