These amazing restaurants are close enough to walk to (or stumble home from depending on what type of vacation your are having)! All of these locations I have chosen because I have received excellent service and great meals. If you have a bad experience anywhere I suggest please tell me so I can update this list for future guests!
Greg and Jo run an amazing restaurant with great food and top notch service. I LOVE the homemade hummus, Surf and Turf Steak dinner, and carrot cake! Trust me if you don't have room for dessert take a slice of that cake with you for breakfast the next day!!

This restaurant is the perfect place for an inexpensive shwarma or falafel. The food is delicious and Abraham is a sweetheart!

Snoopy's is a great relaxing place for dinner or evening drinks! If you like live music they have nearly every night of the week! Great local food and a fun island atmosphere!

Walk down Simpson Bay Beach to reach this ocean front restaurant! A great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or for a day lounging on beach chairs on the sand. The service here can be slow so don't go starving but the meals are delicious!

This is an amazing breakfast and lunch stop! Sweet and savory crepes to die for and a BLT on baguette that I get a few times a month. The close a bit early in the afternoon so grab something to-go on your way to the beach!

This spot is a must visit for two reasons: amazing breakfast and phenomenal staff. Big breakfasts perfect to soak up the rum punch from the night before and amazing lunch in the low season. High season this is a top fine dinning stop in Simpson Bay! Sally is there almost every day and provides amazing service. She is funny, kind, and remembers everyone! Several guests have made this their place for breakfast every morning because of her!

This spot is a must visit for two reasons: amazing breakfast and phenomenal staff. Big breakfasts perfect to soak up the rum punch from the night before and amazing lunch in the low season. High season this is a top fine dinning stop in Simpson Bay! Sally is there almost every day and provides amazing service. She is funny, kind, and remembers everyone! Several guests have made this their place for breakfast every morning because of her!

These are my top picks of the 36 beaches on SXM!
Steps from your front door! Snorkeling right in front of our building can be amazing plus the sand shore offers the perfect place for evening walks! Turtles nest here from April- November so a nighttime stroll might lead to a once in a lifetime experience!

The famous 'airport beach'. Get a thrill watching planes land right over the beach! Check the arrivals schedule before your trek out there and look for AirFrance or KLM flights which boast the largest planes! Don't be surprised if you get pelted by sand when one takes off from our airport though!!

Huge expanse of sand without any apartments, hotels, or buildings! There are two small shack style restaurants on one end but the rest is an unoccupied oasis. Amazing clear blue water and a great place to spend the day!

My top pick for French Side SXM, Pinel Island is an incredibly unique way to spend your day! You have to take a ferry (currently $14 roundtrip) to get to the island and once your are there you will see why it is so popular. Two restaurants are located on the beach and one little gift shop. Otherwise the island it uninhabited. The shelter from the wind means the water is like a swimming pool and you can even have a table put out in the water for your drinks and food!!
