Nature
It only take 5 minutes by bike to Björnö Nature Reserve where fantastic berries and mushroom areas and fishing opportunities are available. And many beautiful beaches (with snorkel trail).
For the adventurous, why not rent a kayak and paddle around the reserve? There is also SUP to rent during the summer (near the big parking).
Björnö nature reserve is also a popular place for bird spotting, you can find eagles for example. If you like running we can recommend a 7 km long trail “Björnospåret”.

If you walk 10 minutes along Högholmsvägen and a winding path through the forest you find the beach in Klacknäset: “Kärringviken”. A secluded bathing bay with sandy beach and cliffs. Our favourite beach.

Restaurant
In the harbour you find a restaurant “Björkvik Bistro” with indoor and outdoor dining. You can also buy ice cream there. Below the bistro you find a cosy beach (which you can spot in the movie ”girl with the dragon tattoo”). It takes approx. 15-20 min to walk there.
