Go to the Winnie Davis (niece of Jefferson Davis) Building for great architecture and interesting design. The quarry was originally a mining location for limestone and goes under a large portion of Gaffney. One day they hit water, thus the Limestone Quarry was created. Great walking or running area too.

Our claim to fame! (As well as Frank Underwood’s). For many years, our county grew more peaches than the whole state of Georgia. We are proud of our 🍑 Peach. When we needed a new water tower, my dad suggested a peach and the head of the local utility company, Mr. Crater designed it.
