Cool spots to visit, beach, scenery, nature walk, swimming creek, healthy eats and boutique shops.
We love Burleigh heads and the national park. In fact so much we got married here on the headland❣️
Burleigh heads beach is inviting for a swim, or walk. Burleigh heads is a well known surf spot, yet if the waves aren't pumping you can always relax & chill watching the people and scenery go by.
Hot tip: We love heading down on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, grabbing some food /drinks and sitting on the headland hill watching sunset with the locals.
Alternatively go for a walk/ stroll through the national park which leads to Tallebudgera creek on the other side. Voted best swimming on the GoldCoast:)
Feeling hungry? Burleigh has lots of yummy restaurants with loads of healthy options, from cocktails on the beach at the Pavilion to healthy smoothies at soul bowl or Helens' juice bar.
Burleigh town center is a great spot to wander around. You will find James street full of unique boutiques to pass away the time.

On weekends Burleigh usually is a bee hive of activity. Enjoy exploring.

Stunning beaches beckoning you to swim, play or stroll along. Enjoy a lovely walk from Watego's beach up to the lighthouse through some of the Australian bush. (Lots of stairs so take it easy) Peeking out at the most eastern part of Australia. Awesome to do for Sunrise.
Witness a late afternoon sunset from the lighthouse. Keep your eyes peeled for all the wildlife; if you are lucky you may sight, Eagles, Dolphins, Whales, Turtles, Brush turkey, assorted birds and maybe even a rabbit.
Immerse yourself in the laid-back ambience of the Byron’s town centre, many restaurants with tantalizing menu's plus lots of healthy options in this town.
If you are after a good day out, where time slides by as you sink into the chilled-out vibe, then Byron Bay is your place.

Byron Bay
We always love a day out in Byron, such a great place to relax and unwind.

- The Glow Worm caves are brilliant at Cedar Creek Winery truly fascinating and worth a visit.
- Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Sky walk – A fun Eco-Adventure offering a unique and thrilling way to explore the beautiful rainforest canopies.
- Sunset at The Polish Place is fabulous to enjoy an awesome vista and sunset beverage all whilst the Rosellas and Parrots come to feed.
- Stroll along Gallery walk and meander into the creative boutiques full or art wares and home made delights.
Perhaps losing yourself in wine tasting is your ideal way to spend the day there are an assortment of Wineries to tantalize your taste buds;
- Masons Winery, which has a brilliant lunch restaurant.
- Witches Falls Winery, lovely outdoor garden with cheese platters.
- Cedar Creek winery ( this is where the glow worms are)
- Heritage wines
So much to explore, worth a visit.
