I love food. I love Georgian food. These are all my absolute favorite places to enjoy Georgian cuisine. Gemrielad mirtvit (good appetite)!
My personal favorite restaurant in Tbilisi. The food is amazing. The wine is delicious. The place is comfortable. You must try the chicken shkmeruli. On some nights, they have Georgian folk singers eating, drinking, playing music and singing at one table. Make reservation.

Ezo means courtyard and this restaurant is located in a charming one. The food is good and the ambiance is nice.

Located in the district of the thermal baths (approximately 10-15 minute walk from the apartment), this place is a great place for lunch. The chef is one of the best in Georgia. They also offer comfortable hangover soups... ;)

Approximately 20 minute walk from the apartment, this place is beautiful. Authentic Georgian vintage decor. I personally like to go there for lunch.

My favorite place for Adjarian khachapuri. The owner of this place also owns Rooms Hotel right beside and the Rooms Hotel in Kazbegi. These places are decorated with very great and sophisticated taste and they are all worth a visit.

Georgia is the cradle of wine making. They have a few hundreds unique kinds of grape that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. You never knew that wine had so many different tastes. Forget what you know about wine and enjoy it to the fullest. Yes! I love Georgian wine!

Sightseeing
What I personally like the most in Tbilisi is to walk through the old streets of Sololaki and enter the various courtyards and building entrances. You can easily imagine how it must have looked like during the aristocratic 19th century. But here are other interesting points of interests that are worth a visit.
This impressive flea market is open everyday and offer all kind of soviet artifacts, local arts as well as old cutlery and other authentic unique items.

It's a must when visiting Tbilisi. From the top (Mtatsminda Park), you will have an overall great view of Tbilisi. And if you're looking for a quick hike, there are two fun hiking trails that starts/ends at Mtatsminda Park. One goes to Sololaki and the other one to Turtle Lake (longer but better views).

I really like this museum. They have a lot very interesting artifacts and the section dedicated to soviet occupation is quite fascinating.

Guests sometimes ask me for grocery store and shopping mall. This new mall has it all. Quite a few common international chains like H&M, a foodcourt with the usual American fast food and a grocery store in the basement. They also have a nice movie theater presenting in English.

Many businesses offer car rentals around Freedom Square. I have personally used Avis services and it was quite satisfactory and you can drop the car at other branches in Georgia.
