Tipps für Reisende

Was einpacken?

Winter Trip

Pack winter clothing and any other winter gear you think you might need. Definitely layer. Temperatures in the park can be from 10 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit depending upon elevation on any given day. Also if you don't already have tire chains for your vehicle, they are required to enter the park. I recommend purchasing/renting and testing them out before your trip. Tires chains can be purchased/rented here locally though and they always have plenty in stock.

Summer Trip

Definitely bring a swim suit. Pack plenty of other summer items including sunscreen. You can burn quite easily being at a higher elevation. There are also plenty of places for swimming and fishing. But be cautious and only swim in designated places where it is safe. In case you forget any of these things, there are stores in town that sell plenty of item, but we do provide towels and sunscreen for those that forget.
