Very nice restaurant with great food, Abruzzi is underground and you feel like you're in a grotto when you are inside. Elegant and has a wine and cocktail bar as well. You can also see the chefs preparing the meals.

Has many hiking trails that weave through the redwood trees. Very beautiful and rugged. When you go onto the trails it is as if you are in the heart of the forest. There is also an open park with lots of open grass area and a playground.

Approx. 10 minutes away, Moonstone Beach has a beautiful, rocky shoreline and is good for walking and hiking.
There is also a fine dining restaurant on the beach: Moonstone Grill. It can be expensive, but is worth the experience!

Wildberries has a larger deli than Co-op, where you can get anything from grilled vegetables to jerk chicken and salmon. They also have Wildplatter Cafe, which serves prepared dinners, chicken skewers and hamburgers, just name a few. You can get good Humboldt-made products at Wildberries (Co-op as well) like Lacey's cookies, slug slime, and Humboldt Fog cheese.

The interior is a cafe and a very comfortable, intimate, cozy place to hang out and get peace & quiet. They have a nice fireplace and board games as well. Out back, behind the cafe, are the saunas and hot tubs. It is very beautiful and peaceful out there, with a large pond and a bridge. There are private rooms, or cabanas, that are home to the saunas & hot tubs.
It is highly recommended that you make a reservation if want one. Otherwise, you can just explore and ask to be seen a few of the saunas and hot tubs, which are very nice and relaxing.
