Fish and chips at Mariner's Wharf Harbour is a must do. Go downstairs to the takeaways place, not upstairs to the restaurant.
You'll most likely see a local band playing, locals playing with seals.
Take a stroll down the harbour past the fishing boats.

You can also cycle, rollerblade, longboard etc on the promenade.
We like to park in Mouille Point and then walk to the public swimming pool in Sea Point (roughly 2.5 km one way).

The best way to experience Chapmans Peak is by bicycle in the early morning. But if you don't have access to a bicycle it's definitely worthwhile driving over Chapmans Peak by car.
If you want to drive all the way to Noordhoek you'll have to pay a toll fee of R47.00 on way. Definitely worth the money.

It's a shopping center, but it's great to just walk around and have a quick lunch or even just grab a bottle of juice or soda or whatever and hang out a bit. The V&A waterfront has it all, can cost you absolutely nothing or it can range from a small, medium, large or insane amount of money.
