A favorite spot to eat on La Ropa. The BEST salads, seafood, burgers served in a laid-back beachy atmosphere surrounded by nature (where you can see iguanas, crocodiles, birds right next door!). Located next to the Estero (estuary) between Casa del Mar and El Pirata Restaurant, close to the southern end of La Ropa. Closed Wednesdays.

The best beach on Zihuatanejo Bay, about a kilometer in length. Good snorkeling around the rocks at both ends of the beach. You can hire parasail and banana boat rides, jet-skiis, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. at several points along the beach. The beach is wide and sandy, lined with palm trees, and with reasonably mild wave movement, making it one of the best swimming beaches in the area. There are a number of restaurants along the beach, most of which will let you use their installations (beach chairs, umbrellas, bathrooms) for a minimum consumption. There are also beach umbrellas, chairs, and tables for rent next to La Perla Restaurant. A number of massage kiosks along the beach offer relaxing massages, mani-pedicures, hot rock treatments, etc. There are are showers and a public restroom in the artisan's market and beach access located between Villa Mexicana Hotel and Thompson Resort, as well as behind Rossy's Restaurant and La Gaviota at the southern end of the beath farthest from town.

A small beach near the mouth of Zihuatanejo Bay accessible by water taxi from the main pier downtown or by following a rustic path along the waterline between La Ropa and Las Gatas beaches (sturdy shoes recommended... there are rocks to scale). Great beach for kids and safe snorkeling.
