We are situated in walking distance of the village Burzet.
It has a climbing site by the clocktower, stunning walks and views all seasons and beautiful wild swimming spots.
In the village itself there are a few essential shops such as a baker, butcher, a supermarket, and a news agent. We highly recommend going for a drink at bar La Cigale and soak up authentic Ardeche village life.
Visit the old church with its great view over Burzet and make sure to take dip in many of the beautiful river spots.

We really like the sunday market to bring family, the vintage clothes shop & in summer the Vide Grenier. The park with beautiful tree species and its natural source is also a must in this spa town. .

A lovely quaint village that offers everything you would expect of traditional french village life. Its a great drive to get up there. This village celebrates the life of singer song writer and poët Jean Ferrat and its a joy to spend some time here and have a bite.

A picturesque village with quaint streets and shops, plenty of places to eat in summer and a lovely little beach for swimming. It makes for a great day out!

There are also organised tours and events at the moulinage; an old silk mill that has been bought by a group of contemporary arts & crafts people.
The eco museum in Chirols tells the story of life in Ardèche when there was silk industry. (Exhibition is in French mainly!).

This little gem is a wine shop like no other, locally. It stocks organic, biodynamic and natural wines from great local makers and beyond.
Shop owner Charlie is passionate and can tell a lot about the grapes in each wines and the stories from the makers. This shop is a must for wine lovers.

A great spot for swimming and for the ‘Via Ferata’ zip line walk. Go early this spot gets very busy in summer but is totally worth it!

In close walking distance from our accommodation, this is Lottie’s favourite and a little paradise for adventurists. Literally a volcanic basalt pool and small cascade this is ideal for cold water dipping, Wim-Hof-method enthusiasts and lovers of nature.

Les Trois Trous is a favourite swimming spot of locals.
The magical woodland settings has three stunning natural pools. Though essentially a public place, residents of perverange like to keep the residential side of the water exclusive, and therefor sensitivity is required.

We love this lake and surrounding woodland for walks, swimming and to escape. It feels like a set of a James Bond movie and definitely worth the beautiful drive up!
