Cool, hip but casual and friendly atmosphere. It's literally a stone's throw from the house and has an an amazing hamburger (plus super fresh and unique salads, and sandwiches).

Super delicious Thai food, just across the river (5 blocks from the house). Their Cashew Chicken is fabulous and they are super close to call in an order. It's always ready within 10 mins and you can bring it back to the house and enjoy (or dine in).

Hecho en Waco ("Made en Waco") is the cutest Mexican restaurant with superb food and fun drinks. Get the jalapeno margarita - truly delicious! They also have several great patios and view of the Silos.

best rooftop bar in Waco. They have an incredible award winning bourbon drink, wine, full bar, cheese boar, crepes and more (the upstairs inside bar has an ornate, 18 foot birch bar that was made in 1811 for a saloon in Oregon. It’s gorgeous and worth a visit).
