I have never been to this place but have heard a lot about it. It is a latin restaurant and lounge. Looks very fun.

If you are looking for cheap groceries, this store is amazing. However, you have to bring your own bags to put the groceries in. I usually use my shopping cart or ask if you need a bag or a backpack. I have plenty.

This store is open 24/7 and sells everything from beverages to beauty to toothpaste to shampoo. Highly recommend if you need anything quickly and at any time. I would warn though that sometimes there are long lines depending on the hour.

You can get great deals on really useful items at this place. If you want cheap gifts to bring back to your country or you forgot to bring something on your travels and need to run out and buy real quick, I would check this store first.

Getting Around
Want to go to time square, Rockefeller Center, 9/11 memorial. 1 Train takes you directly into the city for around $2.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car
5618 BroadwayIf you would like to explore a little outside the city I would suggest taking the metro north upstate. The ride is completely beautiful and right along the hudson river. You can also take this train down to 42nd street. More comfy then the local 1 train but more expensive.

This is a hidden castle in the middle of the city. It is gorgeous and probably another hidden secret of NYC. I would highly suggest going there if you like museums.

This is what you call a NYC bodega. It is not the closest one to the house. You have to climb up some stairs to get to it but it is open 24/7. Great spot for late night munchies. You can order delivery from them at any time. I would get a chop cheese or a Lola's B. Chop cheese is only made in NYC.
