You need to take in consideration that leaving of the coast of west of Ireland gives you amazing views but also very unpredictable weather. Make sure you have your rain gear and wellies packed for “ just in case” 😊

It’s fairly easy to travel with kids I’m Ireland
Hire cars provide car seats for kids usually for extra charge, buses have plenty of spaces for push chairs (prams), plenty of footpaths in town for walking, probably not so easy as in the country side as there are little footpaths. Food places are very accommodating to the young children.
