River Dodder

Just a stones through away is the River Dodder. You can walk along it most of the way but you do have to pop out onto pavement at some points. Full of wildlife and the gentle flow is food for the soul.

I am local and I've done this tour. In fairness all the actual truths you learn here are interesting, but they get in the way of the high exaggerated & embellished versions we come up with ourselves! But it is well worth a visit, but only if they are allowing you to the top bar, which I am unsure of now in Covid.

I am local and I've done this tour. In fairness all the actual truths you learn here are interesting, but they get in the way of the high exaggerated & embellished versions we come up with ourselves! But it is well worth a visit, but only if they are allowing you to the top bar, which I am unsure of now in Covid.

Howth Cliff Walk (Green Route)

Great to blow the cobwebs away in the morning or to to time it so you arrive in Greystones just after the lunch time rush. There’s some great restaurants there, but we usually pay a visit to The Happy Pear, for its tasty veggie and vegan options. They’ve a great outdoor space if the weather is good. Take the dart back into pearse or tara st and have desert in town!

A great neighbourhood for a stroll and a bite to eat. If you love chicken wings, book a table in Tribeca and order the basket of wings for your starter! They are famous in Ireland. You have have drinks (outside now) in any bar, but Smyth's is probably the best.

Famous for its cemetery, botanic gardens and the Gravedrivers pub, Glasnevin is a great neighbour to visit. Jam packed with coffee shops and restaurants its also a great spot to get feed and watered!

Drury Street

Much better and more authentic than Temple Bar. The square block on which Drury St fronts one side is full of quirky boutiques, great coffee houses, a mix of food offerings from vegan to steakhouses and just a great chilled atmosphere. The Asian Supermarket is a great spot for picking up unusual ingredients for a home cooked meal.
