A local French restaurant. very close to home - walking distance. The rating on google Maps is pretty, and the food is tasty. But the food is the type of homemade French food, not the Michelin type of high-end food.

This is the sister restaurant as Rajpoute, some of my friends said it is better than Rajpoute, but I found both are equally good.

Sightseeing

This French restaurant is super cool because this place used to be the train station in Gex. You will be sitting on the train rail dining. The environment is really good, the food to us is OK - I mean there are better place in terms of food. https://g.page/restaurantgaregex?share

Grocery shopping

A convenience store in the neighborhood within walking distance. It has everything you need, e.g. fruits, veggie, meat, and other packaged food. There is a butcher in the store with high-quality meat! We usually go there when we only have small grocery shopping to do instead of going to the big carrefour or intermarche.

Convention Center

Public transport: direct bus F (but stops directly below the apartment) to Grand Saconnex Place which is a 6-minute walk from the Palexpo. https://goo.gl/maps/kp8QaFH3avXruLvs7 here is the route to go to the palexpo by bus on google map. So in total by bus, it is 30 minutes plus 6 minutes on foot - 36 minutes. The bus stop near me is called Cessy center. By car: 12 km away. I just checked now, which is rush hour, it's about 20 minutes.
