1.5 Miles away you can visit the Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center www.HolocaustEdu.org has a page dedicated to upcoming events, live conversations with guest speakers, etc. This is a very well displayed museum with many heart-wrenching memories of the atrocities committed by fellow man, however also inspiring stories of bravery and perseverance. The museums attached to the Jewish Community Center, kind of hidden to the right of the community center. Here you will find names you recognize like Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc., along with scads of locally owned boutiques and galleries for your fashion, home furnishing and even pantry-related needs. Dozens of restaurants, and they have a FARMERS MARKET on Saturdays with all sorts of vendors. This is one of our favorite spots to walk around and explore. Enjoy!
