Mind the speed limit

Local law enforcement are friendly but stern on speed!! Save the bank and stay below the limit.

Please tip your local servers and bartenders.

They mean a lot to us, most are our good friends and we want them to treat our guests well 😊

Groceries and such

Island groceries will be the most costly. There is a dollar store across the bridge in East Point and a Piggly Wiggly across 2 bridges over in Apalachicola that are your more cost effective options. I’d recommend stopping before check-in on your way in if you don’t plan on leaving the island again.
