It has a vibrant scene right on the water and incredible food and drinks! It can be difficult to get a reservation, so if they're booked, go early, like 4 pm and put your name on the list and have a drink at the bar while you wait. Very pricey, but worth it.

Go in the afternoon, bring a picnic and get your wine there. And there's live music on the weekends. Everyone's really friendly, so it's a great place to meet people!

Great place to spend a good part of a day...they've got a restaurant with outdoor tables literally on the sand, a beautiful beach (make sure to take a walk toward Point Dume) and a bar that serves drinks that'll really make you feel like you're on vacation!

This isn't a mall, just a really cool collection of shops and restaurants in Venice. My favorite place for lunch/dinner is Gjelina -- some of the best food anywhere in LA, period! If it's the first Friday of the month during the summer, the stores stay open till 9 pm or later, food trucks are everywhere, and tons of people -- very festive!

In addition to the cool stores in the Lumber Yard, there are two other shopping centers adjacent and across the street. Between all three, there's plenty of shopping, dining and a movie theater. Bring your credit card!
