A fancy club & restaurant with a great İstanbul view . ''The multi award winning 360istanbul is set in a penthouse perched on a 19th century apartment building overlooking the old embassy row in Beyoglu. It commands a 360 breathe taking landscape view of Istanbul all the way from the up close steeple of St Antoine’s Church and across the Bosphorus strait to the Hagia Sophia Mosque and out to the Sea of Marmara. 360 is open for lunch and dinner, offering a twist on the modern Turkish meze fused with international cuisine and an exclusive wine selection to compliment it. 360 turns into Club360 on the weekends so come enjoy your fresh elixir while listening to our talented Djs and vocalists with live dancers and performances. 360istanbul also endocrine’s the 360 concept of dining experience. This concept consists of four crucial elements; Cuisine - Design - Entertainment and Atmosphere. No element in 360istanbul is more or less important than the other. Instead they coexist in harmony.''

This is the old and historical patisserie with lots of sweet stuff. Try to eat profiterol! The iconic İnci Pastanesi opened in 1944 on İstiklal Caddesi, quickly becoming famous for its profiteroles and classic interior. In 2012, the gentrification that has driven almost all of the original small business owners on İstiklal also forced İnci to move to a nearby backstreet, abandoning its home of nearly seven decades. Though the new location isn't quite the same, the taste of its heavenly profiteroles hasn't changed in the slightest. As İnci remains open until midnight, it's common practice around Beyoğlu to ditch dessert after dinner and head straight here for the real deal

The Flower Passage is a historical arcade containing cafes, restaurants and wineries. The arcade originally contained a theatre, which was destroyed in a fire. After the Russian Revolution of 1917, many formerly wealthy Russian women sold flowers here, giving the area its name. This is an exquisite feat of architecture that you can enjoy either by strolling through or by sitting and enjoying a meal or a beverage under the domed roof.

At Çiya Sofrası, the tastes of Southeastern Anatolia and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine are prepared in accordance with their originality. The ingredients used in the dishes they prepare with a wide variety of recipes from different regions of Anatolia, mainly Eastern Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia, are also provided from these regions. There are interesting dishes such as Şıhilmehşi, mualle, tattoo, forget me, maş soup, malhıtalı soup, lebeni soup, firik pilaf, kömeç vaccine, sitti bagel, and green plum pan. The meal can be ended with Fig Dessert and Melengiş Coffee. You can follow the daily menu online, order local delicacies on the menu or fill your plate with delicious olive oil dishes from the salad bar. On the other hand, the pickles set in the showcase are extremely successful both in appearance and taste. The sweet conversation between Musa Bey and his wife, who is behind all this success, is another reason why we stopped by Çiya. Çiya has more than one shop on the same street.

Established with a mission to promote the development of contemporary art in Turkey, the initiative focused on providing space, support and international visibility to projects by young Turkish artists. As new art institutions and museums bloomed in Turkish art scene in 2005, the collectors converted the space to a private collection museum under the name ‘Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art’ to host the Elgiz Collection. Proje4L/Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art is located in the dynamic business district of Istanbul, Maslak and is open to the public free of charge.

This museum was built in tribute to the ceremony conducted by the Turkish order of Whirling Dervishes. The ceremony denotes an ancient practice of spinning in a deep prayer trance, arms raised in praise of God. It is a ceremony that only those admitted into the order can perform and is one of the most fascinating spectacles that travellers can witness in Turkey. This museum archives many artefacts and documents from the long history of this ceremony, including the origins and its outlawing in the 1920s.

The iconic Camondo (or Kamondo) staircase was built in the late 19th century - sponsored by the Jewish Camondo family, who were leading bankers during the Ottoman period. It provides a convenient route for climbing from Bankalar Caddesi (Bank Street) in Karakoy to the Galata Tower, the daily route between home and the workplace for the Camondos. It is also said that it was built for the children of the Camondo family. This staircase is built in the Art Noveau style and is said to resemble a flowing river. You will often come across a musician or two on its landings, who provide live music while you pause for breath and click a photo.

The Museum of Innocence (Turkish: Masumiyet Müzesi) is a museum in a 19th-century house in Istanbul (Çukurcuma) created by novelist Orhan Pamuk as a companion to his novel The Museum of Innocence. The museum and the novel were created in tandem, centred on the stories of two Istanbul families. On 17 May 2014, the museum was announced as the winner of the 2014 European Museum of the Year Award.[1] The narrative and the museum offer a glimpse into upper-class Istanbul life from the 1970s to the early 2000s.[2] The novel details the story of Kemal, a wealthy Istanbulite who falls in love with his poorer cousin, and the museum displays the artefacts of their love story.[2][3] According to the museum website, the collection, which includes more than a thousand objects, presents what the novel’s characters "used, wore, heard, saw, collected and dreamed of, all meticulously arranged in boxes and display cabinets."

You'll fall in love with the grounds, the museum, and the views. There is a restaurant on the grounds, and the views from it are spectacular (Although it is pricey, it is worth it). The museum is a little further north on the European side, but well-worth the trip

Istanbul has two major tourist attractions that will take almost a full day out of your holiday: a visit to one or more of the Princes’ Islands and a boat tour on the Bosphorus. People rightfully ask me if it’s worth sacrificing one or two days of their often already short stay in Istanbul? That is a tough question to answer, and completely based on personal preferences. So let me explain what you can expect from a daytrip to the Princes’ Island, and how to best go about. Picture of the Princes' Islands in Istanbul, Turkey. Princes’ Islands in front of Istanbul. © Photo by Michiel Mobach What Are the Princes’ Islands of Istanbul The Princes’ Islands (Kızıl Adalar or just Adalar) are a chain of nine rather small islands in the Sea of Marmara. They evolved from a place of exile during the Byzantine era, to a popular destination for tourists and Istanbulites alike to escape the hectic city life for a day. Of those nine islands, only four of them are open to the public: Büyükada, the biggest and most popular, Burgazada, Heybeliada and Kınalıada. Princes’ Islands Features Picture of a horse-drawn carriage on the Princes' Islands in Istanbul, Turkey. Horse-drawn carriage. © Michiel Mobach The main feature of any of the Princes’ Islands is the sound of … silence. All fuel-driven vehicles are banned, making the islands an oasis of peace and quiet. The main transportation means are bicycles, electric buses and electric taxis. The latter replacing the typical horse-drawn carriages since 2020. The only sounds you’ll hear are bicycle bells and footsteps. But that’s not the only feature that makes the Princes’ Islands unique. You’ll find yourself walking or riding through narrow streets flanked by either untouched pine-forests or fine, wooden Victorian cottages. Ps: My favourite island is Burgazada (second island). If ıt is summer time, don't forget to bring your swimsuit!
